My style of yoga:
Vinyasa flow yoga with intelligent alignment, purposeful movement and honouring one's own body. Spiritual but down-to-earth.
My retreat offering:
I offer a dynamic, un-rushed, flow-based practice, incorporating the philosophies of yoga in a lighthearted and down-to-earth way.
My retreat will be focused on physical yoga with a theme of finding purpose -- and will include the use of self-inquiry, discussion and journaling.
Emphasis will be placed on being present through challenge, on practicing gratitude and embodying your practice.
The morning practice will be the more challenging with the afternoon more like a workshop with a specific focus, for example backbends or handstands or basic breathwork.
Within each practice, I will provide options for a variety of levels, from more basic versions of postures to more challenging poses including arm balances, inversions and deep backbends.
Who would benefit from my teachings:
People who enjoy a vinyasa style practice - a practice which challenges the body and focuses the mind. The retreat is open to a variety of abilities but might not be appropriate for an absolute beginner. This retreat is ideal for anyone looking to find more purpose and meaning from their life.

- Private yoga instruction with postural assessment, attention to alignment in postures and assessment of suboptimal movement patterns, €60 per hour.
Why I teach yoga:
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, I discovered both yoga and dance at the age of 19 while studying ecology at university. I was so enthralled by these new systems of physicality that I left ecology by the wayside and delved deep into the world of movement, eventually completing a yoga teacher training in India, a Pilates certification in LA and a BA in Dance from CSU Long Beach. After a short stint of professional dance projects (and various other jobs) I became a full-time yoga, Pilates and dance teacher and I love sharing the gift of movement and the wisdom of yoga with others. I have now been teaching yoga for 11 years and I am also a proud father of two.
