Jivamukti Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga.

My retreat offering:

Join me, Daniela, an advanced certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher for a full-on week of yoga practice, mindful mornings, inner peace & joy at the most precious location: Silver Island Yoga. We invite you to take the time and space to explore your inner landscapes, discover your places of joy & recharge your soul.

During this week we access different elements of the Yoga practice like steady regular asana practice, Kriyas (cleaning practices), Pranayama (breath exercises) and meditation to renew and clean up the physical body (skin and organs) of toxins often more accumulated during the cold months and to purify the energetic body of fear, doubt and the reminiscences of a life submerged in into extreme rationality, technological overdose, competition and stress.

As the days pass, you will experience less mental noise, more intuitive clarity and the connection with your sense of natural inner happiness will reflect outside.

Who would benefit from my teachings:

Open to all levels of practice. Whoever wants to take a break from a stressful lifestyle or simply take time to reflect and discover new jewels in themselves.

What will you will take home:

This yoga retreat will clean your body from the inside out, releasing toxins from the physical and energetical bodies, letting it glow after a long winter.

A week devoted to yourself away from routines and obligations, surrounded by the exhilarating beauty of the island ,will certainly refresh your senses.

Why I teach yoga:

I started practicing yoga when I was 17 years old while studying at the Design School in Mexico City and I have been teaching Yoga for about 11 years. I teach yoga because it completely changed my life. I went to the Yoga Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training in 2005 because I wanted to share this incredible potential I discovered in Yoga with as many people as possible.

Yoga gave me the tools and the space to have a more profound insight about my life and the world as well as a new connection to my body. The Ashtanga practice at that time was a great tool for me to develop discipline and center. Later on I studied Jivamukti Yoga and trained with Sharon Gannon & David Life in 2008 in NY.

My creative practice has informed my Yoga practice and vice versa. For me creativity and Yoga belong to the same realm of presence, I am a world bridger who likes to connect different ideas and make sense of them.

In 2008 I founded the yoga studio B.Yoga in Basel after I relocated to Switzerland, where I teach on a regular basis, coach other teachers and run the B.Yoga Teacher Training every year.
