MY STYLE OF YOGA

Restorative Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Yoga Nidra

MY RETREAT OFFERING

 

My retreat is an invitation to hit the pause button and allow balance and calm back into your being.

 

Our mornings begin with Pranayama, a Hatha Asana practice and Meditation. Gently waking us up for the wonderful day ahead.

Our evening sessions include nurturing Restorative practices and a Yoga Nidra. Supported postures that invite the body and mind to melt. I help you encourage the nervous system to slow down allowing you to recharge physically and emotionally. I guide you on a different Yoga Nidra each evening, bringing you to the deepest state of relaxation and healing

 

We learn on this retreat that "just being" is ok and have a giggle on the way. Included, also, is a sprinkling of sparkle and fun!


WHO WOULD BENEFIT FROM THIS RETREAT

We all need a space that reminds us that to Rest and Restore is giving ourselves a precious gift. This retreat is suitable for beginners and seasoned yogis alike. I offer variations in poses and allow you to go at your own pace. If you feel like a challenge that is explored too from a place of Ahimsa or self compassion. The retreat is for anyone who is tired with the 'glorification of busy'.

WHAT YOU WILL TAKE HOME

A sense of rejuvenation, restfulness and ease that soothes and nurtures the soul. You also take with you the knowledge to get your own Restorative practice going at home. You have learned the tools to an essential healing system that can be used in times of stress or illness, as a 'rest and repair' to intense activity and as a way of integrating calm into the busyness of life. WHY I TEACH YOGA

​

Yoga has always been a part of my life as my mother is a Yoga teacher too. I also have my own personal experiences that drew me to yoga.  It has helped open me up to the wonders of embodying a “spiritual being having a human experience”! I share what I have learned and what has helped me in navigating the world. Yoga has helped me with grief, fertility and most of all...Life! It has given me joy,love and connection with others. I have expanded and been inspired in my learning by attending teachings and trainings lead by Judith Hanson Lasater, Amy Matthews, Donna Farhi, Julie Gudmestad and Uma Dinesmore Tuli.
